Is Give Impact a registered MWSBE company (aka. Minority, Women and Small Business Enterprises)?

YES! Give Impact is a registered Women Owned Business with the North Carolina Office of Historically Underutilized Businesses (“NC HUB”) and with the City of Charlotte’s Charlotte Business Inclusion (“CBI”) Program.

Why in the world did you launch in the middle of a pandemic?

Great question. Short answer is that I felt like I was supposed to. The quote by Theodore Roosevelt rings strongly for me “Do what you can, with what you have, where you are.” Despite the pandemic, I was in a place where I could take action - with my specific skillset and experiences - to help people who are struggling to find housing. Because of the pandemic (and through lots of prayer), I felt like it was the right time to take a leap of faith. Here we are!

Are you a traditional Low-Income Housing Tax Credit (“LIHTC”) consultant?

Not directly. Give Impact does not normally lead or manage tax credit applications. However, sometimes we participate in the review of applications or input on specific sections for our client’s projects. The good news is that we DO have a network of consultants that we can refer our clients to that do an excellent job!

Is Give Impact, LLC a non-profit organization? Do you accept donations?

Currently, we are a privately held taxable company focused on social good. We do not accept donations, but if we can be of service to you or you would like to sponsor specific work needed in our field – we would love to discuss an engagement!
