Courtney was the clinical director of the SABER Treatment Program, of the local nonprofit Roof Above. The program provides mental health and addiction treatment for men experiencing homelessness, who are capable of full-time employment post treatment. The program is seen as one of the best practices in ending chronic homelessness, as the rare modality combines abstinent contingent housing with treatment services. Witnessing the transformative impact recovery and housing can have on over 500 clients' lives, she remains an unwavering advocate for individuals experiencing homelessness, addiction/mental health challenges and those seeking affordable housing.
Corners of Hope is a culmination of passion, persistence and purpose that combines Courtney's expertise in addiction counseling serving men experiencing homelessness, as well as her recent experience in real estate and advocating for affordable housing. Courtney is a licensed broker with Premier Sotheby's International Realty, as well as a Certified Clinical Supervisor and Licensed Clinical Addiction Specialist with the North Carolina Addiction Professional Practice Board.
A proud alumna of Charlotte Christian School and the University of North Carolina - Charlotte, she holds a Bachelor of Arts in psychology and communications, as well as a Master of Arts in community mental health counseling with a specialization in addiction. She was a former college cheerleader and heavily involved in student leadership.
